It was one of those rare moments when we picked this EP out of the overwhelming big bunch of demos we get every day that made us listen up, and the more we listened to it the more we fell in love with those two tracks. This newcomer artist cast a spell on us with his uplifting UK house influenced music.
We’re really happy to present the debut release of FORT ARKANSAS. Let’s start our trip with the title track BRAND NEW DAY, who is a perfect combination of futuristic garage house and soulful deep house music, packed with lots of build ups and teasing fill-ins.
PICTURES OF US follows a similar path and heads on to new boundaries with it’s punching 909 drum patterns and the subtly chosen minor organ chords. The breakdowns are filled with atmospheric piano licks and a catchy female vocal line that will give your crowd shivers down their spines.
