Jazz legend NINA SIMONE doesn’t need much of an introduction. Simone’s musical style fused gospel and pop with classical music and accompanied expressive, jazz-like singing in her contralto voice. She recorded forty albums during 1957 and 1975.
13 years after her death we are very happy to release the official remix album presented by dutch DJ MAESTRO who selected some amazing remix works and also contributes with a few remixes produced by himself.
Enjoy classics like MY BABY JUST CARES FOR ME, AFRICAN MAILMAN or LITTLE GIRL BLUE in some fresh and modern new musical suit and experience Nina’s unique voice and performances.
