A heartfelt memory turned dancefloor anthem — DJ Hypest’s “The Way It Was” captures nostalgia through rhythm, groove, and emotion. Built around a chopped voice-note motif from a family memory, this gratitude-fueled tech house gem transforms personal reflection into pure peak-time energy. With its rubbery bassline, crisp Latin percussion, and warm melodic lift, the track strikes the perfect balance between emotion and drive — a hypnotic blend of heart and power made for festival stages and late-night floors alike.
