EDX – Belong [Sirup Music – SIR728]
Having achieved a Hype Machine #1 for his Indian Summer remix of Sam Feldt’s ‘Show Me Love’, as well as delivering the atmospheric ‘Breathin’ in June of last year, EDX returns to present his latest release, ‘Belong’.
Maintaining his taste for elevating vocals and deep, progressive hooks, ‘Belong’ demonstrates EDX’s faultless ability to create timeless summer anthems. With the soulful vocals of Cimo Fränkel injecting a distinct sense of romanticism to the record, its catchy rhythm is driven by a powerful bassline and polished piano licks that instantly carry the track into the realms of the dance floor.
As well as a continuous flow of gigs scheduled this summer – including key slots across Europe plus appearances at Eden and Ushuaia in Ibiza – EDX continues to push his discerning NoXcuses podcast and event series globally. Also an accomplished remixer, he’s worked with the likes of Cazzette, Nora En Pure & Sons of Maria and Avicii – with no signs of slowing down for 2015.
