SWTCH – Carbon EP [Sirup Records – SIR113]
SWTCH are an Irish Progressive house duo who started producing Electronic music back in the early stages of 2013 when trance and other forms of electronic music were at their peak. This hit is no exception, evoking the true meaning of what traditional progressive house should sound like. Going to the genre’s roots, the band SWITCH has mastered their craft and it truly shows with his new album the CARBON EP. The first track CARBON consists of CHEERING synth strings, TIGHT drums, ATMOSPHERIC vocal padding, and a PHAT OFF BEAT bass which is well complimented by a CLASSIC octave pluck sequence. The second track continues a similar theme with open and closing synth plucks giving a kind of call/response vibe with the strings. You don’t have to be a contemporary person to enjoy traditional music when it is done right, so take a listen to this TERRIFIC track!
