The One – Formula Uno (Niki’s Theme) [Sirup Records – SIR144]
You are in for a treat as THE ONE introduces you to the world of insane speeds and champagne showers with his latest track FORMULA ONE (NIKI’S THEME). Paying tribute to his fellow countryman NIKI LAUDA who passed away last year, The One blends the RETRO SOUND of Nikki’s prime with contemporary PROGRESSIVE HOUSE sound design, and the result is just gorgeous. Most noticably, the whole second buildup consists of a synth ramp that is reminiscent of a CAR ENGINE, AND FORMULA ONE RECORDINGS are also heard throughout the track. Clearly, what we witness here is a future legend honoring the legacy of an existing one.
