Teddy Beats is an American DJ and record producer based in Washington, D.C. He discovered his passion for dance music around 2017 after being introduced to it by a friend from Moldova. Instantly hooked, he began experimenting with the genre and released his debut dance track “Ain’t Stoppin” on Armada Music that same year. Recognized for his contributions to the “chill dance” genre of electronic dance music, Teddy Beats has established himself as a prominent figure in the industry.

His journey into music began after graduating from college with Omega Recording Studios as a certified audio engineer. He began producing hip hop beats for Chucky Thompson of Bad Boy Entertainment. Transitioning to electronic dance music, Teddy Beats tropical house track ‘Ain’t Stoppin’ caught the attention of SiriusXM Chill in 2017, leading to a deal with Armada Music. This success opened doors for collaborations with artists such as Mon Rovîa and Britt Lari. Teddy has also performed at prominent festivals such as Electric Forest, Firefly and Moonrise and supported major acts such as Zedd, Loud Luxury, The Chainsmokers and Marshmello.

With influences from MGMT, Calvin Harris and Diplo, Teddy Beats musical direction focuses on the chill dance genre. His tracks feature melodic and feel-good elements, blending indie-electronic, synth-pop and deep house. Despite his chill vibe, his live shows are a complete contrast, known for their high energy and vibrant atmosphere.
