Joseph Spender – Black Bubble [S2 Records – S2R256]
The DJ/producer from Paris, JOSEPH SPENDER has crafted something special with his newest track, BLACK BUBBLE. The beat’s uniqueness stems from its triplet rhythms and genius sound design. Making many sounds out of just a few, he does what many find difficult, which is make something simple sound good. As they say “Less is more“. The track is composed of a CHOPPED AND SCREWED vocal, a single note bass which ascends and descends in pitch, a SPOOKY melody/pad, and a TIGHT kick/clap combo. It even takes an interesting twist when the tempo goes half speed. So spend some time with this special beat, investigating its intricacies. Because what might appear simple on the outside is actually quite complex on the inside 😉
