Continental explores the darker, more restrained side of Progressive House, built around a relentless sense of forward motion and tension. At its core, the title track revolves around a repeating Korg synth motif, dark ambient layers and crisp, driving percussion. Rather than building towards a conventional big-room drop, it keeps climbing, holding the listener in a cycle of anticipation. This approach reflects the EP’s focus on atmosphere, restraint and never-stop energy, drawing on the legacy of Subliminal and Cr2. With previous DJ support from Steve Lawler and Erick Morillo, the release connects classic progressive house sensibilities with a darker, more uncompromising club sound.
