Yvan Genkins – Flying High EP //
One can get the impression that lovely Switzerland gives birth to the next phat producer at least once a week, pushing into the market to its status quo. In this case, we talk about Yvan Genkins, who has probably been musically socialized by techno idols a la Saunderson or Beltram.
Yvan delivers on Hive Audio 039 two ‘petite’ house pearls – rough and yet smooth, bare-faced but affectionate, filled with beautiful vocal fragments and the necessary portion of funk. Always straight ahead.
The “Flying High EP” is a logic and consequent continuation of our release politics. Sometimes deep and then “techy” and every once in while technoid. Yvan Genkins releases a bomb, that will make the colleagues that play with the thought to drag tech house to Zurich onto the Hive Audio platform, sweet! [Hive Audio – HA039]
