James Silk – La Noche EP //
An old acquaintance of our label strikes back! Welcome back to the house front Mr. Silk!
It’s been a long time since we have experienced such old school tracks. James does everything to bring a touch of the past close to the new generation with his “La Noche EP”. One can say nostalgia combined with up to date sounds. Perfect house music with a breeze of dreamful ideas.
The title track “La Noche” creates a meditative melancholia as well as the urge to surrender to the sound and to just ‘move’. “This Journey” comes across in a slightly erotising way without blocking the energy of the dance floor. Dark chords drive this track into musical infinity. Rough, strong, playful and energetic.
We love James Silk! [Hive Audio – HA038]
