Sirup Dance Anthems «America 2013» [Sirup Music – SIR KNM 860]
With the year’s end nearing, let Sirup Dance Anthems «America 2013» 30-track compilation help you relive the best moments. The album walks us through the biggest dance tracks as EDM took America by storm in what is arguably the biggest year the genre has experienced.
The compilation features music from some of the genre’s most prolific artists such as Nicky Romero, Krewella, Axwell, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, and many more!
After premiering the single at Coachella, it was clear that the product of mega-star collaboration between Nicky Romero and Krewella would be next to almost none. “Legacy” exemplifies what can happen when two of the hottest names in dance music come together. This festival anthem has full-throttle drums, dynamic melodies, and a powerful bassline. Premiered by Pete Tong on his Essential Selection back I’m early May, the remode of Axwell – “Center of the Universe” remains constructed by the paralleled piano and vocals of the original, while offering an all new groove with the percussion. A classic anthemic progressive house sound that Axwell and his label have made their own. An America favorite, EDX brings his iconic progressive synth with “Hazed”. Its full force melodic build up and a calm give you a beautiful summertime vibe, while the firm drop make it a dance anthem classic. Armin Vam Buuren feat. BT – “These Silent Hearts” is truly a beautiful melody with magical trance elements. The vocals are the heart of the track. Stripping it would be a grave sin.
Completely shifting gears after the release of “Madness”, Belgian duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike create their deepest effort in recent history, “Wakanda”. An addictive chant and full of thumping basslines which have been unleashed on every stop of SHM’s One Last Tour. Dance anthem much? We definitely believe so! Representing Swiss Dance Culture, Helvetic Nerds, consisting of EDX Leventina, Chris Reece, Daniel Portman, and more, deliver their latest creation, “Blood Pressure” (EDX & Leventina Remix). With Soaring and sharp synths, this jaw dropping remix is definitely a driving and pumping big room monster sure to destroy all dance floors. Bringing the compilation to its end of a musical journey, Tune in Tokyo – “Ray Of Love” (Denzal Park Dub Mix) is keeping things on a epic scale with a dropping and uplifting peak time mix.
