Sirup Music presents the retrospective label collection of US singer/songwriter RON CARROLL incl. WHAT THEY THINK ABOUT ME (w/ KOS, 2016), FEVER (as R.O.N.N. w/ Aires Adora, 2016), ONLY YOU (w/ Sandy Dae, 2019) and ONLY YOU (w/ Audax, 2019) and all its remixes.
Born in Chicago in the late 60s, Ron Carroll discovered house music through gospel roots and quickly became a central figure in the scene. His debut single “My Prayer” in 1993 laid the foundation for his career as a singer, producer and DJ. He went on to gain worldwide recognition with hits such as “Back Together” (w/ Hardsoul), “Lucky Star” (w/ Superfunk), and “With My Nikes On”. Collaborating with legends such as Louie Vega, Bob Sinclar and Axwell, he earned the nickname “Minister of Sound” and left an undeniable mark on house culture across the globe.
May his soul, sound, voice and inspirational energy live on forever through his music. In loving memory of Ron Carroll 1968-2025 († RIP)
