Once upon a time there was a lonely boy who desperately wanted to make friends. He tried to be funny, be happy all the time and never let anyone see how lonely and sad he really feels. He tried to be special, made up talents he didn’t have and pretended to be friends with people he never met. But all the kids on the playground avoided him, pointed with fingers on him and laughed at him whenever one threw a decent punchline. The days got longer and longer, more exhausting and soon the boy couldn’t keep up his masquerade and one day on the playground he just sat in the sandbox, the tears run down his rosy cheeks and poured a little river into the sand below him. The boy didn’t pretend to be strong, happy, rich or smart anymore, he was just a normal boy crying because he was hurt. Hurt to the core for something he didn’t understand. He acted like all the kids around him who seem to have friends and seem to be popular and loved.
After a while the kids noticed the boy in the sand crying, they looked at each other and wondered why he is upset. So they all decided to go over and ask what they matter would be. The boy looked up. “I just wanted to make friends but I failed. No-one really likes me”, he said and looked back down into the sand. The kids were perplexed and didn’t know how to react. Then one kind pointed at the boy’s face and yelled: “Haha, he’s got a big booger hanging out of his nose.” All the kids started to laugh and act disgusted.
The boy didn’t hear the laughs anymore, he already started to fade out the reality around him were he wouldn’t fit in anyways and fled into a world of his own; a world that was drawn to perfection, made to fit him in, made for him to get recognition and eventually become someone.
Melodies, rhythms and sounds helped the boy to find himself again in a world of his own. The melodies became his friends, they would understand him and be there when he needed them.
Ever since he creates music. He sits in a studio full of gear and computers to create music; the music that helps him to fight the loneliness and makes his life livable.
