EDX – The Time Is Now (Wh0 Remix) [Sirup Music – SIR1205_RMX2]
Back in April 2020, celebrated Swiss producer EDX became the first electronic artist in history to deliver an official rework of Moloko’s classic hit record ‘The Time Is Now’. A euphoric piano house anthem with top line lyrics adapted from Moloko’s iconic year-2000 hit of the same name, EDX continued his unstoppable run of form as he reimagined the almost untouchable original for its twentieth anniversary, to deliver yet another infectious vocal cut, primed for international sound systems.
Following a subsequent remix from BBC Radio 1 mainstay Danny Howard, which was premiered by CLASH Magazine and has seen huge international support ever since, the iconic rework now gets an extra pair of additional interpretations from two of the most exciting up-and-coming talents on the electronic music circuit.
First up is an energetic tech house remix courtesy of enigmatic British duo, Wh0. With releases on the likes of Toolroom, Positiva and their very own Wh0 Plays imprint since forming just two years ago, the mysterious masked pair have already remixed for the likes of The Prodigy, Basement Jazz and Tiësto, and look to continue their fine run of recent form with this latest rendition, out on July 17.
