Nils Nuernberg – This Ain’t Water EP //
Coming all the way from up north, from Hamburg / Germany to be more precise, we’re glad to welcome a well talented producer and DJ to the Hive Audio stable – Mr. Nils Nuernberg.
Known for flawless solo productions as well as a massive string of releases as part of the highly acclaimed conjunctional project Kruse & Nuernberg, his new 2-track EP on Hive Audio is one that’ll keep your dancefloor buzzing throughout the next months for sure. With the title track „This Ain’t Water“ Nils serves one hell of a lively and uplifting tune for all dancers out there. Based on a foundation of well pumping drums various layers of complex, positive synth motifs playfully evolve until their crystalline beauty fully unfolds in and after an epic breakdown that feels nice’n’sweet like an early summer sunrise.
Furthermore „Flame Trees“ takes us to the slightly darker side of his musical work. Sporting huge, overwhelming sub attacks, psyched out and haunting synths as well as carefully processed vocal cut-ups and more entangled melodic elements this is defo another trademark production from the vaults of Nils Nuernberg’s studio that is about to please the late night crowd for a reason.
