The One – Vanish / Shells [Sirup Records – SIR115]
Austrian producer known as THE ONE, has come out with another hit called VANISH / SHELLS. The first track Vanish, has a familiar style all of us progressive house fans know and love! It begins with an eighth note chord progression with an open and close cutoff. With a THICK THUMPING kick and a perfectly placed clap, the drums sit well in the mix. A male voice sings and is layered with repeating vocal chops. The second track, continues with the same CHILL VIBE as the first. The melody is elegantly woven together with a MYSTERIOUS ATMOSPHERE, PUMPING chords, and ICY synth plucks. The percussive elements echo in a knocking fashion adding a kind of woody forest feel. The One has managed to BREATHE LIFE IN TO both of these wonderful tracks. INNATELY SYNTHETIC composition, they surprisingly bring sensations of nature. So vanish in the sea shells of sound and let the music wash over you…
