Born from a moment on the dancefloor, “Wake Em” hits with unapologetic intensity – high energy, phat, and built to bring out your bass face. What started as a raw intro for their set at El Maldito Baile Festival quickly proved too powerful to stay unfinished. Now fully realised, the track channels that same dark, underground energy into a full-force Tech House weapon.
Driven by a huge, weighty bassline, slicing synths, and tight, punchy drums, Wake Em locks into a groove that’s both hypnotic and relentless. Haunting vocal elements and a shadowy atmosphere add tension throughout, creating a stripped-back yet commanding sound that thrives in low-lit, late-night environments. It’s less about melody and more about movement – pure rhythm, pressure, and presence.
With over 1 million streams on Spotify, GeeKan continues to rise as a standout name in the scene, with releases across major labels and Sony Music sub-divisions, plus recognition from DJMag and support from artists like Yves V. Alongside Sama D., this collaboration captures a shared instinct for crafting tracks that connect instantly with the crowd. “Wake Em” is exactly that moment – the one that sets the tone, grabs attention, and doesn’t let go.
